Former Crystal Palace proprietor Simon Jordan believes Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is a “myth” and says he’d sell him “in a heartbeat” if he was in cost at Old Trafford.
Pogba has been at loggerheads with supervisor Jose Mourinho all season, with the 25-year-old failing to impress in what has been a dreadful marketing campaign for United so far – who lie eighth in the Premier League.
Jordan, talking solely to talkSPORT, believes the Red Devils can be higher off with out the ex-Juventus man – and will begin backing Mourinho greater than they’ve been.
On the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, he stated: “If I’m Ed Woodward and my champion was Mourinho I’d wish to do one thing fairly excessive to assist him.
“I’d publicly get proper behind him and put a stick proper up Pogba’s bottom in phrases of straightening him out, so he knew the place I stood.
“Frankly whoever wished to signal Pogba in the primary place… I’d ship them house in a cab!
“I might sell Pogba in a heartbeat.
“I think he is a malaise and has far too much to say for himself – and most of it has no relevance.”
Jordan feels the £90m-rated midfielder is vastly overrated and says, regardless of being prompt elsewhere, he believes he had little to do with France’s World Cup success in Russia.
He added: “His performances on the pitch are far and away beneath what one expects of a participant who is reported to be of the standard he is.
“The World Cup success with France was (N’Golo) Kante, (Antoine) Griezmann and (Kylian) Mbappe excelling in their particular person roles.
“I think there was a lot of noise and rubbish coming from Pogba inside the dressing room – I think he’s all myth.”
