Chad Michael Murray is breaking his silence concerning his ex-wife Sophia Bush’s current feedback about their marriage.
During a current look on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, Bush said that getting married to Murray, her former One Tree Hill co-star, was “not a thing I actually really wanted to do.” The two tied the knot again in 2005, and separated 5 months later, finalizing their divorce in 2006.
“Everybody’s been 22 and stupid,” the 35-year-old actress instructed host Andy Cohen earlier this week. “It was not a thing I actually really wanted to do. Ladies have to learn how to take up space in a way men are taught they are entitled to!”
Upon listening to Bush’s remarks, the 36-year-old actor’s rep launched a press release, calling the feedback “ludicrous.”
“Chad conducts himself in a completely professional manner and would never marry for any reason but love,” Murray’s rep instructedPeople. “Thirteen years since his divorce from Sophia, he has a really joyful household life along with his spouse and youngsters. He has fully moved on and doesn’t really feel the necessity to interact in this kind of habits.”
Murray, a father of two, is now married to Sarah Roemer.
During her interview with Cohen, Bush additional opened up about why she felt pressured to keep in a relationship together with her One Tree Hill co-star. “Because how do you let all people down?” she said. “When you may have bosses telling you that you just’re the one one that will get an individual to work on time and 200 folks both get to see their children at night time or they don’t as a result of our days begin on time.”

The Incredibles 2 star additionally revealed that the behind-the-scenes drama in One Tree Hill was oftentimes extra dramatic than the scripted stuff.
“Life is all the time loaded,” she recalled. “What the general public is aware of ever isn’t — it’s not the tip of the iceberg. [OTH co-star] Hilarie [Burton] and I used to chuckle and we have been like, ‘If we had a behind-the-scenes present, the drama can be a lot f**king higher than the drama that the writers write.'”
It’s been greater than six years since One Tree Hill aired it is remaining episode, however Bush not too long ago opened up to ET about if there’s an opportunity for a revival.
“People have been saying that for a very long time, and I actually don’t know. I don’t have any intel for anyone,” she confessed. “I really feel dangerous when folks say, ‘Oh, it might probably occur’ after which the web blows up and I’m like, ‘Guys, it’s not occurring.’ If there was something occurring they might inform you. But I feel with all people on different jobs and reveals, and with children and lives, I don’t know. Never say by no means, I assume.”
